"Thus nature has no love for solitude and always leans,as it were, on some support, and the sweetest support is found in the most intimate friendship."...Cicero
Teresa, you and I met by chance, fighting the same "dreaded disease" as you called it. During our many trips to MDAnderson together we were both amazed at how much we had in common, other than cancer, and so we decided to share our life experiences as well as our inner most thoughts on what life had dealt us and how we would handle it.
I will always treasure our conversations, the strength we gave each other as we sat waiting for treatments and test results, the laughs we had when I'd take the wrong exit in Houston and blame it on chemo.I'll always remember our routine of stopping at Starbucks in Baytown for a Vivano, and then going on our way always marveling that we were back in Beaumont in no time and we never stopped talking and laughing. I will miss you so as I continue on this fight. My trips to Houston will not be the same Godspeed dear Teresa. Tuesday, August 3, 2010 |

We have only had the opportunity to meet Teresa in May at her niece, Ally's Graduation Party but I feel I know her from updates I received from Robin while we were walking the 3 Day Walk for Breast Cancer. Teresa looks so healthy and happy that its unbelievable that this cancer took the best of her. God must have big plans for her. I know you have a strong supportive family and extended family for you and that adorable daughter, Abby. You and Abby will be in our hearts and prayers.
