Austin, my darling GREAT grandson, today is March 18, 2011 and for some reason I decided to read all the post in your Guestbook.
It just reinforced that so many saw in you what your MawMa Lyn
knew. I am crying my eyes out for you as I write. I miss you so much and it is still hard for me to go to your home as there is such a REAL void there. I just ache for your mom and dad, and of course,
Kylie and Tanner. We miss you so much and I guess our hearts will be heavy until we see you again.
I am forever reliving our last wonderful visit when you knocked on the door and surprised me just two days before you left us. I have yours and Uncle Mack's picture made the last few minutes at the Curtis reunion. He was standing over you in utter awe at your skill in playing the guitar. He was one of the best and so proud of you.
Little did we know he would be gone to heaven so suddenly in four months. Guess he wanted you there to play music with him.
I loved you from the day you were born and enjoyed how darn smart, cute, clever you were. Bet I will be the next one to see you.
Watch over us all.

Thinking of you during this time of great loss for you family. Our son, Troy, passed from this life at the age of 18 in December, 1991. Just reading about Austin touched my heart. He was truly a remarkable person and one who had a tremendous influence on everyone who knew him. Please remember that you are never alone. God loves you and understands your pain. Many friends and family members will continue to pray for you. I know that you feel God's Presence and this will give you the strength that you need. In all things, we are more than conquerors through Jesus, My Love and God's blessings, Lynda Stockton

Rene' Lovett RN, MSN, CPNP (Friendswood, TX)

I met Austin only once, but that's all it took for him to make a mark on my heart. I am a Nursing Instructor for a local community college. One of my students was blessed to have had Austin as his first pediatric patient at Texas Childrens Hospital. Austin was a wealth of knowledge. I was touched by his aspirations of one day contributing to the future of medicine....especially in Cardiology. Today, we were overwhelmed with sadness learning of Austin's passing. But were also overcome by joy as we reflected on the conversation with him and his father on the day he was discharged from the hospital. May the Lord's word continue to be a source of support to you and your family during this difficult time.
