Dear Pat,
Michael and I would like to extend our heartfelt sympathy to you and your family. Jerry was our "gate keeper" neighbor...always watchful, right Pat? You both welcomed Michael and I on to the street with smiles and adventure. I will remember his kindness and ever present smile. Next growing season I will help you keep the birds away from his tomatoes with red Christmas balls. We're here if you need anything,
Cindy and Michael Lindsay

My deepest sympathies to Pat, Brad and Dena and the rest of Jerry's family. I have known Jerry since Averill school and he was the kind of person that though you might not see him often when you did catch up, he was the same as always, happy, and smiling and making jokes. My favorite memory is the picture in the Pine Burr '53 of Bill Ross, Jerry and Jack Horkan. It was Fronteir day but they dressed in 'zoot suits' as cool cats and they were! Jerry chaired so many reunions for the class of '53 and he was known as a friend to all. We'll miss him mightly. Love, Cynthia Robichaux Smith
