Am very sorry to hear about Ann's death. She was one of the more memorable professors I learned from at Lamar in the early 1970's. She was a notable influence on my experiences in college and will be missed. Sunday, August 1, 2010 |

Tim and family: I remember volunteering at Amelia Elementary when my daughter, Katie, was in kindergarten and meeting the most fascinating woman one day, absolutely one of the most gracious women I had ever encountered. I spend the better part of that afternoon just speaking with and listening to her when LuAnn walked in and introduced me to her mother-in-law - that same lovely woman. Because of this woman and the love of God she instilled in you, I know you find comfort in knowing she is at home with her Savior. I'm so sorry for your loss but know that she lives on in each and every one of you. Thursday, July 29, 2010 |

What a wonderful lady, and what a wonderful life! "Miss Jones" was one of my first Sunday School teachers back at St. Luke's in the, and then I was fortunate enough to have her again as a professor at Lamar. She had an energy and a passion for people that was just soooooo contagious. It was such a blessing to have her as an influence in my life. Tom and Tim, your mom was such a very special lady. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Wednesday, July 28, 2010 |

Mrs. Jones was my first marketing professor back in the 70's at Lamar University. I remember her as a smart, articulate woman full of passion for the subject she taught. One thing for certain, when in her class, you were going to LEARN SOMETHING.
She has touched countless lives through her work. May God comfort those she left behind.
