Uncle Glen, I will miss you dearly. You are the inspiration that made me want to be a pilot. When we moved to Hawaii (a short time after my mom passed, your sister Patricia), you were instrumental in having me start Civil Air Patrol. If I remember correctly, I was too young, but you knew the commander, and he pulled some strings. That, and flying with you in that little Cessna were HUGE to me as a young teenager. Heck, I think I was preteen (12 years old). I still have the original pilot's log book with that hour being the first entry. I love you Uncle Glen. I will miss you dearly! Wednesday, July 7, 2010 |

Glen,
I will miss you greatly and will never forget rebuilding the Indian, discussing aviation, and listening to your views. You have been a great care giver and provider to my family and I am very greatful for you. Though I deeply regret your early passing, I know that the sun shines on you now and am happy to think that you are restored to perfection at home with our Father.
I will never forget you and wish my children could have known their Poppo better.
Love and blessings,
Ryan Tuesday, July 6, 2010 |
