You were blessed with a beautiful lady in your lives. We are praying for you that God will cover your heart and hold each of you in His hands. We pray the peace that passeth understanding will come to each of you in a very special way. Very Sincerely, Rev. Jason and Kimberly Sciscoe (Rita's friends and former pastor in Beaumont) Friday, June 25, 2010 |

Aunt Mel,
We will miss your sweet spirit, your sense of humor, and your inspirational phrases like, "You go, girl!" We will be thinking of Uncle Lloyd and Jonathan daily. We love you all. Friday, June 25, 2010 |

Melody was a joy to know and work with and I think of her often. I know that her radiant spirit is outshining the other angels even though her absence has left a shadow here over all the many lives she touched. When I remember her, the photo that immediately comes to mind is that joyful picture of her swimming with the Manta Rays. She had a wonderful appreciation of all of God's creations and a deep love of her family and friends. I will truly miss her. Thursday, June 24, 2010 |

Lloyd and Jonathan, you know that our thoughts and prayers have been focused on you. We are very sorry for your loss. We know for sure, however, that while Jesus weeps for you in your sorrow, he must be so glad to see Melody's arrival. I know he was needing some help and He knows Melody is a faithful worker. We love you guys and know that you will miss her until that great reunion when Christ returns. Thursday, June 24, 2010 |
