Rowena, Brian, Sharon, Sandy,

It is with heavy heart that I'm contacting all of you now. As soon as I saw Uncle Bill's picture in our paper, my heart sank - for I knew what followed. And what a wonderful tribute ya'll wrote for him. I know how you will miss him. He was such a unique person. I swear, as a young girl, I also thought of him as an uncle - because that's what we all called him. I even remember dancing with him! Ya'll take care and be so happy that you have so many many happy memories of your Uncle Bill!

What a privilege it was to meet “Unc” and come to know and love him through all the stories shared by his loving family. Sandy, I know how special he was to you by the way your face lit up every time you spoke of him. What a blessing he was to you and Sharon and how precious you both returned that blessing by being there for him and taking care of him right up to the very end of his time on earth. May sweet memeories forever remind you of not only how special he was to you but just how very special you were to him.
