I remember so many wonderful things about Becky, but one thing that sticks out the most is that she NEVER had an unkind word for anyone. It didn't matter which 'crowd' you hung out with, she always had a smile for you and more than likely was doing something to make people laugh.
All of my memories are from Jr. High and High School with Becky. I feel very fortunate to have reconnected with her on facebook, as so many of our classmates have recently.
My prayers and lots of love go out to her family. There are truly no words to say that will take away the pain, but perhaps just knowing how many lives she touched (directly and indirectly), how many people loved her, and that she is never gone if we keep her in our hearts, just maybe, that will ease a bit of the pain. Becky, you'll be missed by so many. Seems like yesterday you were making monkey faces in the hallway. You are such a beautiful spirit and I trust you are in Heavan taking care of people just like you did here on earth. God Speed my friend and I regret having lost touch with you for so long. Love and prayers to the entire family this day and everyday. Thursday, June 10, 2010 |
