As the Hicks children grew up, Jack, Myra and Mike, were like extra siblings. When David and Jill arrived, that was extra excitement to have babies around. Jack, Myra and my cousin, Kenny Kimler, were all around the same age. The three of them were very close to my mother, Mary Tommie Kimler Morrison and to their aunt Polly Manning. I remember how Jack would carry me around on his shouldars when I was little. I always liked him and we thought of him as part of our family too. He was considered to one of my mother's nephews and was one of her pallbearers as were her "actual" nephews. Jack will be missed by all who knew him. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
