Chaney, you will be VERY missed. I love you and will never forgot your smile (and your silly dance moves!). God bless your family and your little angels. Watch over us and please always keep smiling. Monday, May 24, 2010 |

D,
I wish I knew the words to say. From the monster truck rallys, to singing in your mom's living room like Brooks & Dunn, fishing in Crystal Beach, Little League at Candlelight, we grew up together. It was a true Aggie vs Longhorn. Goin to your high school graduation in Lumberton, visiting at A&M. Everything seems so long ago. But i remember them like it were yesterday. I remember the day my mom told me you were going to Iraq. I knew you wanted to serve your country and you did just that. I dont know of another individual that was more proud and determined to defend what he believed in and as a citizen I could never repay you for that. May you rest peacefully. Watch over all of us until we meet again.

The life that I and Dustin had together are forever in my heart. I see him in my memories everyday. This was a second son that I cherished. So loving and so smart. I was so proud when I saw him graduation day in San Diego from Basic training. I was elated to see you become a father. And your and Matt's stories are forever engrained in my mind. You continued to live your life even through the gratest strifes. Even with PTSD and a heart that was giving way, you continued to smile and take care of your family. Two beutiful girls are here for us to share and we thank you for that. I will miss everything we went through, and I will miss that loving smile today and everyday for the rest of my life. I am lucky in that I will continue to hear your stories through the great networking of friends that care so much for you and your sidekick Matt. And everytime I replace a windshield wiper. Dustin, Wow, I don't even know where to begin... The selfish nature we all have wants me to ask, "why him, why so young?" but then I realize that you were called to duty, to watch over us. It's hurts to know that such a good friend has been taken from us, but you have stolen a special place in all our hearts, and we are all truley blessed! I have so many good memories of you but the one that sticks out the most is how excited I got when I saw your eyes light up when we found out we were in the same unit on Camp Pendleton! You were an amazing friend and your family will be in my prayers and heart, and I can't wait to see you again some day! Love you Chaney! Love, Jamie Monday, May 24, 2010 |
