I am going to miss you Chaney. Even though you and I had a few verbal altercations in Ramadi, Iraq on our second deployment, your funny side never ceased to make us smile. Brothers every now and then wont agree on some things, but in the end brothers will always remember that they are brothers, especially when under fire. You were one of the best Marines I ever had the privilege of fighting along side with. May God bless you and your family. Semper Fi Cpl Dustin Chaney.

Words can't express the deep sadness I feel. You are a brother to me and will always be loved. We shared so many good memories together, from Boondock Saints and barbeques, to hungover C130 flights and softball games in Ramadi.

My deepest condolences go out to the family of Dustin. It was an honor to have known and served our country with such an amazing man.

Love you brother. Semper Fi!

Dear Kayla, I am sincerely sorry for your loss. I have only known you and Chaney for a few months. Through learning about your relationship, I knew one thing for sure....You both Loved each other very much !! I really enjoyed meeting Chaney at your Birthday party....he was so charming, I will never forget him sewing that button on his shirt !!! He said that he was going to have to teach you to sew! I cannot imagine losing the love of my life, and the relationship with his two beautiful daughters, and the father figure Cole loves, and all of your hopes and dreams for the future in the blink of an eye. Even though you had no legal paper to connect you to Chaney, everyone knows that you were his soulmate, and that he would want you treated as such during this hard time for you and his remaining family. May God bless you with strength to get through this Sorrowful time. You need to remember that Cole needs you to help him get through the loss also. I believe that Chaney will always be looking out for you and Cole , as he was doing here up until he bacame your Angel.

With my deepest Sympathy........Mary
