I just found out about Jerri's passing. Please know that you all are in our prayers. She was such a character and so generous to everyone! Jerri and Charles were so good to my mom and dad. Dad talked about going to Sartin's all the time and how special Jerri and Charles were to him. Thursday, June 3, 2010 |

Dear Doug & Kelli ~
There are no words. I just now found out because I haven't been reading the paper lately. I am speechless and somewhat overcome with tears. So many years, so many memories going all the way back to when we were little. Remember when she took us all to Gilley's in Houston??? I got lost coming back from the ladies room and was in tears because I was so young (about 14) and scared. I will never forget Jerri putting me on her lap, hugging me and making me laugh! I have the photo and promise to dig it out from the cob webs one day soon. Man, we could talk for hours about some fun and crazy memories. It's a beautiful thing to have always felt like part of the family, and you know you are part of mine forever. The entire Anabtawi family sends their love and support ~ especially Mom. We all loved your mother very much.
God bless you, yours, and may she be lifted up into the light of God and surrounded by all the love and peace of Heaven. My she forever dwell in the comfort of all the angels and I'm sure she will keep the party going until we get there! Killer crabs and cold beer on the house.....all you can eat old school platters! :)
I am SO SORRY I was not there yesterday. Would not have missed it for the world.
If there is anything at all I can do for any one of you, please don't hesitate to call. I love you dearly and no time nor distance can or will ever change that. Take comfort in knowing that you are surrounded by massive amounts of love and support. Keep the faith and keep in touch!!! Life is like a box of chocolates. Ya neva, eva know what ur gonna get......but Jerri knew how to LIVE! And....she taught us all how to as well. :)
I Love You From The Bottom of My Heart ~ Most Sincerely, Nad :) 409-543-4789 or 409-985-5400

Emily and the Sartin family, We are sorry to hear of the loss of your M-I-L, but what a legacy she left behind. I can still remember her from a particular incident years ago when there was a Sartin's on IH-10 (almost across from where you are now). Our thoughts & prayers are with you. Monday, May 3, 2010 |

Mr. Charles Sartin, Doug and Kelli,
My family's thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time of sorrow. We lived in Sabine Pass and I worked at Sartin's for several years. I have many memories of those days. Jerri gave me my first job at Sartin's and remembered me every time I saw her at Sartins in Beaumont when it was next to Parkdale Mall. She would laugh at me when I came in and said "You know the routine, you can wait on your own table". She always told me that if I ever needed another job to look her up. I am thankful for that.
