Raymon Lindsey was much, much more than a father in law to me. He filled a void in my personal life, providing the rock of leadership and fatherhood that had been sorely lacking up til I met him. He accepted me into his family, faults and all, and with patience, prayer and guidance in the Lord, made me into the man I am today. His family is a living legacy to the greatness that was the man. My sincere condolences go to Betty, Doris, Mary and my own bride Paula. Raymon, I will miss you until we meet again at the throne of the Almighty God. Rest in Peace Pappy. Tuesday, May 4, 2010 |

Having been thru the horrors of losing a parent - I can well relate to Doris. The loss expected but not looked forward to. He lived a long life but not long enough for those who will miss his smile, his ever present Christian example.
Matthew 5:4 says "Blessed are they who mourn for they shall be comforted."
So it is true! Monday, April 26, 2010 |

As a strong Christian, Mr. Lindsey's light did shine on those of us who barely knew him........through his children. He went to school with my mother, Catherine Robertson Richardson, and his daughter Doris and I were classmates. We honor his life and principles, an example to all! May God comfort his family during these times of grief! Love.......Martha Monday, April 26, 2010 |
