I am so sorry for your loss. Uncle Leander was such a wonderful man and such a joy to be around. He reminded me so much of my Pop, Elza. After my grandfather passed, he and Aunt Lela, made sure to check on my MeeMee and she loved the visits so much and I am so thankful for the joy that these two people brought into her life and others. God Bless. Thursday, April 15, 2010 |

My condolences to the Touchet family, especially Mrs. Touchet and Leander, Jr. and Ben, who I remember from teaching at C. O. Wilson. The keepsake memorial was a touching tribute to a man with an outstanding love of gardening. May his heaven be ready and prepared for him as well as he prepared his place on earth. Sincerely, Linda Cobb--8th History/7th English Tuesday, April 13, 2010 |

Aunt Lela & Family - We are so sorry for your loss. Uncle Leander was a good man who always made me smile when I saw him. I will always remember him in his cowboy hat. I also remember Aunt Lela and Uncle Leander churning out the best boudin in SE Texas when I was a kid growing up. We love you!
