To the Harber family,

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Mrs. Harber. I have so many fond memories of her and your family growing up playing baseball together. I know what a difficult time this is and hope you find some peace. You all will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Sharlyn and Delbert Spell (Nederland, TX)

Joe, Bubba, Jessica and little Chad,
Our hearts are broken for the loss you feel. Connie was a wonderful person and her love for her family was one of the first things people noticed about her. She was dedicated whatever they were involved in and some of my fondest memories were of the years we ran the Babe Ruth concession stand together. Her constant laughter and her pride in watching her boys play was a joy to witness. One of my last conversasions with her was when Bubba and Jessica were plannng to be married and she was so proud and excited. We pray that your precious memories will bring a smile to your face as you remember your sweet, sweet wife, mother, mother in law and grandmother. She was special.
Our love and prayers, Delbert and Sharlyn

Linda Eastis Cobb (Nederland, TX)

Dear family of Connie--bubbly, vivacious and her mother, Peggy, taught me to bowl as an elementary kid. I have wonderfully funny remembrances of her from junior high through high school. I think our boys were always on opposing teams in baseball, but we were all Bulldogs at heart. I am saddened that I did not know of her illness, as I too have had a similar experience. The death of Chad, who I had taught, was horrific, and you all were in my prayers for that time of unending grief. You are in my prayers now, and Susan's eulogy about her friend caught the perfect essence of Connie.
Blessings of peace,
Linda Eastis Cobb

Mollie Simpson (Port Neches, TX)

My heart goes out to the friends and family of Connie. I heard about Connie from my sweet friend Jody. The way she touched her life is just an indicator of how deeply she touched other people's lives. She's on the other side now with all the beauty and love there. I know you will all still feel the pain deeply. Sometimes though all we can hold onto is that our loved ones are ok now and we'll see them again someday.

Sheila Ballard (Port Neches, TX)

I am so sorry to hear about Connie. I did not know she had died until Kathy Blankenship called me last night. I also lost my ex-husband this past weekend, his funeral was Saturday. Just wanted to let you know how much I loved Connie, we used to have so much fun together. She is with the Lord now and at peace. Prayers to your family.
