Becky & Donny Pope (Nederland, TX)

I have known Cherry for many years through Rachel a dear friend of mine and Donny's. She was definitely a unique and colorful person. I remember the Plays in the past few years that she attended with Rachel and the GNO (Girls Group Out), a few of her friends, and the GNO parents; you are all right she loved to look good and have her drink I think that is why I got along with her so well, (we loved JD) she will be missed by all, each and everyone of her children, friends and acquaintances. Our blessings to each of you!

Rachel, Becca, Leah, Esther & Joel,
I heard this morning about your mom. Your description of Cherry in her obituary was beautiful, spot-on, and heartbreaking for those of us who knew and loved Cherry. She was an amazing woman, a true matriach of her family, and an absolute blast to be around. My memories of Cherry & the fun we had on our trip to market, her great Christmas get togethers, and so many family get togethers to which my family was privileged to attend. My prayers are with your family. Cherry was an amazing woman and what a party they must be having in heaven with her there. She could brighten anyone's day with her presence.

With much love for your family,
Andria Mosley Bender

It is with the saddest of hearts that I send to all of you but especially, Esther and Rachel, my most sincerest of sympathies. Having known both your mom and dad all my life, as our parents were the dearest of friends, your mom will most sincerely be missed. She was so lively and cheerful. I loved listening to stories she would tell and will always remember her wonderful, full of life laugh that always followed one of those most glorious tales. She will always be remember so fondly for her gift of friendship that she always bestowed on my parents and us as children and as adults through the years. Thank you all for sharing her with us. She was a joy to know. May God be with you all and may he forever continue to bless you with his grace.
