I am so sorry for your loss. You can never be prepared for the loss of a child, no matter how old that child is. It's not the way life is supposed to work. Catherine was a good friend to my daughter, Heather (I hope you remember her). With Heather being in a wheelchair and unable to do the things other kids could do, a lot of her classmates didn't take the time to make sure she was included in things, but Catherine always did. You raised her with good values and I'm sure you were always very proud of her. If I can be of any further comfort or help to you, please feel free to contact me at any time. I will be with you in spirit in the upcoming days and weeks (and long after that). I can tell you that time does help somewhat in the healing process even though you may not think so at this time.
