Alan Johnson (Silsee, TX)

Molly and Kate, I am truly sorry for your loss. I am just at a loss for words, it doesn't seem real. It seems like yesterday we were splitting wood together or doing the yard work. I can hear him now calling me, rooster, and me answering him saying, yes Old Man. Or maybe when we would go fishing and he would fall in the mud and I would laugh at him. He would say that's not funny stop laughing, I couldn't help but laugh even harder and try as he might he would laugh as well. Even after he and mom split up he would see me in the store and come hug my neck ask me how everything was and somehow make me walk away with a smile on my face. Something about his cheerful attitude just made the day brighter for some reason, no matter how overcast it seemed. You will never know how much I wish I could go back and change the past. Spend more time with him; maybe get to tell how I truly felt about him. Tell him just how much I really loved him. But for now I guess all I can say is, until we meet again Old Man, until we meet again.
Your loving rooster,
Alan Johnson

Tim & Holly Palmer (wildwood, TX)

Ramon Rodriguez, what can you say about a man that made everthing better just by being present. Ramon was so much to so many people that noone knew the impact this man made just by being in his presence. 13 years I knew Ramon and I can tell his family this was a great man. I want to tell the family that we are here, but I know they hear that all the time but we are here for anything you need. Just a short story about Ramon that I wanted to talk about but couldn't at the service. I met Ramon in 1997 and in Oct. 2000 me and Holly were married and Ramon was the DJ, or so I thought, I asked Holly all day where was Ramon and she responded chasing Marta around the pool table, Ramon met Marta for the first time that day and they were inseperable after. Thank you Ramon for all the good times and memories, we will miss you.
