Our prayers and condolences to the Barton family in their time of loss. Neal Jr., Chris Cone, and I had mmany good times growing up together in Beaumont. All of our parents were not just parents to their biological children, but to all of us. Big Neal was a very fine man with good morals and values, who not only raised a fine youg man, but I think had a hand in raising us all. I will be forever grateful to he and Mildred for making all of us into productive members of society. Although I will sadly not be able to attend the services, please know that my heart is heavy and you will be in my prayers.
God be with you, Fred and Laurie Armstrong Monday, March 15, 2010 |

Mildred and Neal, Jr., I am so saddened at the loss of "Uncle Neal." What a kind, genuine, godly man who loved the Barton family and was so well-loved by countless others; I was blessed to have him in my life. Distance will keep me from attending the services, but please know that you all have been, are, and will be in my thoughts and prayers.
