The Crowell family name is one that brings back memories of my very young days (I am Albert and Allen Floyd's youngest brother)...when I first went to work for First City Bank I recall talking to Will about banking...my prayers go out to all of the family and friends who will miss him. Coach Crowell was an inspiration to everyone he met. He brought joy, laughter, and happiness to everyone around whether it was a good day or a bad one. Coach Crowell was one of the best teachers i ever had and was not just a teacher but also a friend. He inspired me in so many ways and all of my fellow classmates as well. Coach Crowell will always be remembered by everyone and will always be loved. I am truely sorry to hear about his loss. I love and miss you Coach Crowell. R.I.P. Thursday, March 4, 2010 |

So sorry for your loss. Fondly recall working with duo Will and Benny Sharp at First Security National Bank in 1973. Will was such a pleasant and positive person to work with. How fortunate for Nederland ISD that he brought the same devotion and enthusiasm into the classroom and fields. God bless Will, his family, friends, colleagues and beloved students. Our condolences to Davee and the family. As long-time neighbors, we have many fond memories of the entire Crowell family. I recall playing Little League baseball with Will; our team was coached by both of our fathers. Of course, Will was a much better player than I. I am not surprised he was so well-liked by the students and staff at C.O. Wilson school. Thursday, March 4, 2010 |
