Charlie,
I am so sorry for your loss. You should take comfort in the loving care you and your family gave her in her these past months. Your Mom is now in the loving of arms of God...she has gone home.

I was one of Delzora Trahan's caregivers in the same apartment complex where Dot lived in Nederland. I had the privelege of visiting with her daily as she came to visit Mrs. Trahan. She was a wonderful conversationalist that never was at a loss for words. She was as good as they come. My sympathy goes out to her family and friends. I know she will be greatly missed. Our deepest sympathy to all of Dots family. Remembering back to all those conversations on the couch, I know how happy she is to finally be with those she missed so much. How ironic that her funeral will be on Moms birthday. They were such good friends and shared so many good years at Maison Helena, not to mention coffee every morning and afternoon.
