Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal. Rachel and I weren't just cousins, we were friends for life. No matter how far I moved away, we always seemed to keep in touch, letting each other know how much we loved each other.
My first memory of Rachel, was me changing her diapers (I was only four years old) but as we grew up, the memories grew. My only regret is that we didn't have more time to build memories as old ladies.
Sid, Cassi, Shantell, Dillon, Auntie Pat and all our family members, you are in my prayers. May God watch over you and bring peace, allowing you to grieve and heal. Wednesday, February 17, 2010 |
