Zella Mae MacDonald--absolutely one of my heroes from earliest memories of First United Methodist Church in Nederland and the essence of a wonderfully, courageous Christian woman. She and several others are those that made me love walking by myself to Sunday school, VBS, MYF and singing to her piano playing at anytime. Her presence at the evening circle of UMW has been such a blessing to me. Heaven is getting a great one. Many wishes of peace to her family who held her so dear. Linda Friday, February 5, 2010 |

Auntie loved me and I loved her. For almost thirty years she supported me in everything...good or bad, happy or sad. When my father died twenty years ago, she comforted me and my mother for all the years that followed. We had many fun times on trips, watching fireworks at the beach, playing cards, and just visiting over coffee. I am so sad, yet so happy to have had her in my life. No there is one more person I can't wait to see when I get to heaven. I love you , Auntie.
