I am so sorry for your loss. I feel very blessed to have had the opportunity to know and work with Rita through Telephone Pioneers. She was such a talented and giving person and had such a wonderful sense of humor. It was always fun being around her. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Saturday, February 6, 2010 |

Mary and Karen, we are so sorry for your loss. Rita was a great neighbor. We moved in across the street in 1991 and a few years later Rita retired. It seems like only yesterday. I was 33 and now I am facing retirement. We have talked several times about calling the Ridgewood and visiting Rita. We thought of her everytime we look out our kitchen window and everytime I enjoy looking at the maiden hair fern she gave me. Her painting is hanging in our bedroom and we still enjoy the peace and serenity looking at it brings. We miss her still. We did not hear/read of her gathering/funeral until late last night and I am working in Port Arthur and Bobby has been ill. I am remembering her and the two of you even as her funeral is in progress. God bless you and keep you in His arms. Love to you both, Bobby and Carol Saturday, February 6, 2010 |
