Just learned of Sigrid's passing. She was truly a great lady; unselfish; responsive to the needs of others in her family, her church, and her community. "Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master."

Sigrid and church! Always inseparable! I can't imagine one without the other. My earliest memories of church include trying to sneak a peak at Mr. Wilson in church! He could never just ignore a child's wandering eye! I remember answering the phone in the middle of the night when Sigrid called to tell my mom that he had died. I remember her visits for "leftovers" and dessert on Christmas afternoons. I am confident of her joyous reunion with her Lord and all the saints (including her husband) when she was called to her heavenly home on Wed. because whe was confident in her faith in her risen Lord and Savior! She will be missed! Sunday, January 31, 2010 |

My sympathy to Rick, Sandy and the family. I have so many wonderful memories of Sigrid at Hope Lutheran in Winnie. From the time the church was formed Sigrid gave her time as the official records keeper. The history of our church is recorded in her beautiful handwriting. She never forgot anything or anyone. She was a wonderful person. Saturday, January 30, 2010 |
