What a fine man. He is the teacher that I remember the most and I think of him often. He taught me Mechanical drawing and Wood shop. I use the lessons to this day.

We all missed and talked fondly of Pat Morris at a School Reunion we had Friday and Saturday at Hardin Jefferson. All of our classes felt a void with him not there. Such a great loss for everyone, but such nice memories to hold close.

Melanie,Kyle, Don , and Families, I have thought so much about Pat and Janey in the last week. We always had so much fun together when they would come over to Fred and Lucy's. They were both special people. I'm so glad I had the privilage to know them so well. Please know that you all are in my thoughts and prayers. Remember the great times you shared and hopefully this will help you get through the tough times ahead. Sincerely, Kim Wednesday, February 3, 2010 |

Mr. Morris taught me wood shop, along with my brother Kent. I am still using the rifle case that he instructed me with to this day. We built it in 1966 or '67.. For long years after graduation, I would get to talk to him, usually at the post office. I am glad that about a year ago, I did get to tell him how much I appreciated him being my teacher, and keeping me in line.. I will miss him.. and God be with you, Melanie.
