"Uncle Roy" was truly like a real uncle to us, our children and our grandchildren. He had a great deal of wisdom which he shared with us and which we welcomed. And what a wonderful, earthy sense of humor he had! He experienced a lot in life and we loved hearing his stories about it. You always knew where you stood with Uncle Roy and, by golly, you never wanted to be on his bad side! He was kind, compassionate and knew a little or a lot about just about everything. He knew everything about turkey hunting, which was his favorite sport, and he was a great hunting partner. They just don't make 'em like Roy anymore! We will miss him so much, but our wonderful memories of him will be with us forever! Thank you, Uncle Roy, for being such a good friend!
