Mark was just a great guy. I remember when I first joined Calder Baptist, Mark went out of his way to befriend me and make me feel welcome. I admired his love for his family and believe he was a model of what a good Christian father should be like. The evidence of that is easily seen in the man that Cory has become. My own kids loved him, especially my son Ashton who really had bonded with him. He was always picking at him, laughing and cutting up. I'll never forget his laugh and his smile. Laurie, Jaycie and Cory I am sorry for your loss. Friday, January 22, 2010 |

I am saddened to hear about my cousin Mark's passing. I know I don't know his family but I am very sorry for your loss. I remember toting him around at our grandmother's house in Goodrich, Tx., when he was a baby. He was a very special man. He will be in my prayers. Thursday, January 21, 2010 |

Laurie, Cory, and Jaycie ~ Mark's commitment to your family and his desire to serve others will remain his legacy. I'm one of many who admired his character and valued his friendship. Know you're not alone. I will look for ways to stand with you and share your grief. I'm here and I care. Thursday, January 21, 2010 |
