Shirley, Weldon, Bruce and Alan, you are all in our prayers, Chris will be greatly missed and was very lucky to have a family that loved him so much, Here is a poem that gives some comfort, just in knowing you will see him again: Little did we know that day, God was going to call your name, In life we loved you dearly, In death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, You did not go alone. For part of us went with you, The day God called you home. You left us beautiful memories, Your love is still our guide, And though we cannot see you, You are always by our side, Our family chain is broken, And nothing seems the same, But as God calls us one by one, The chain will link again. Chris, physically gone, but loved forever, Accomplished more with his life than he could ever acknowledge, endured more than any of us will ever know or understand, physically and spiritually. Gone to the Father and Peace. May your death bring others knowledge of God's Grace and the Hope we have through Christ Jesus. Friday, January 15, 2010 |
