Captain Donald "Don" Charles Schultz

Margaret Koncaba (Nederland, TX)

Dear Schultz Family,

Don used to come in the Pig Stand were I managed for many years. He would sometimes bring a group of elders with him for lunch. He was always a pleasure to wait on. He often talked about his family and his love for bowling. Heaven will be blessed with another angel. He really touched many lives. God Bless you and your family at this time of sorrow.

Jennifer, I can remember your Dad as a kind and gentle man. He took everything in stride when it came to all of us kids! Coming and going from your house like it was our own! You and your family are in my prayers. It's hard for a little girl to have to be without her Daddy. Love you Bunches! Rebecca

James Earl and Bonnie McAnally (Beaumont, TX)

Jennifer and family,
We're really going to miss seeing and visiting with Don at St. John Lutheran Church. It was truly a pleasure to have known him. He was such an inspiration to all of us, knowing that he had to have his dialysis treatments each week and still wanting to come to church each Sunday morning. What a wonderful legacy to be able to leave behind in his name. Please know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers and if there is anything we can do, we are here for you.
Our love,
James Earl and Bonnie McAnally
