I was privileged to call him Uncle Charles. My family gathered at the skating rank many Thanksgivings and I have wonderful memories of spending the night with my cousins in the house next to the rink. We will miss him. Monday, December 14, 2009 |

I grew up knowing Mr. Manning and the Manning Family. We skated at least two times a week. My grandfather "POP" and grandmother Mam-maw owned some skating rinks. My grandfather loved to go Texas On Wheels, I would drive him, when he could not drive any more. Mr. Manning always had a smile on his face and was a very sweet man. I loved to see him skate around the rink. He will truly be missed. I just know he skating in heaven now. Love Connie Monday, December 14, 2009 |
