Theresa Coco Fertitta was married to my Mother's brother, Vincent Fertitta. He was killed in WW II, April 1945, on the island of Luzon. He was a true war hero, being awarded the Silver Star, the nations 3rd highest medal for valor. I have copies of his honors from the Department of the Army. Aunt Theresa never remarried, staying true to the love of her life. She was a lovely lady. and lived a full life. History should record that her husband gave a full measure of devotion to the defense of our country. May God bless her on her journey to be reunited with Uncle Vincent.
