I just found out Terry passed away. Terry and my brother John were very good friends in high school. Terry spent alot of time with our family going to the lake, fishing, etc. I saw Terry a few years ago and he told me what an impact my Dad made on his life. He said my Dad taught him a lot of good lessons that he shared with others. He said his favorite lesson was when he and my brother were helping my Dad dig a ditch and he told my Dad the shovel didn't dig very good. He said my Dad told him the shovel didn't dig at all. He said that stuck with him. My brother passed away at 16. I bet Terry and John are on the bank of a good fishing hole in heaven right now. I know he will be greatly missed by his family and friends. It has been great knowing you all these years and all the fun we had playing in the mud holes, searching for artesian well after the hurricane and figuring out where the property boundries are located and when you come by the shop in the afternoons to come hang out and visit with everyone and help with making deer sausage and helping at the 4th of July party each year.As much as we have seen you, your loss realy hurt us and it was hard to believe that you are gone forever. RIP forever Terry you are not forgotten and we love you. Thursday, December 3, 2009 |
