It’s hard to articulate how much she meant to me or how much I loved her, but Mawmaw was an amazing woman with a beautiful heart who gave the best hugs. Her strength and force of will was not to be reckoned with, unless you liked picking out switches. She enjoyed cracking jokes and making others laugh, even if she had to be the clown. She valued the small treasures she possessed, showing me to appreciate the small things that make life enjoyable, and her devotion to church and to God portrayed that faith is important.
Grandma took pleasure in sunsets, quilting, and baking one too many pineapple upside down cakes. She delighted in many a sweet goodies and popcorn that always came out perfectly popped. She was a safe haven for many, and cherished family, no matter how crazy we seemed at times. More importantly, she taught us that family comes first, love should be given abundantly, and to keep your soul open to possibilities.
All in all, we have many memories and stories of our beloved grandmother, mother, sister, and aunt whose love was given freely and returned by all. I love you grandma, and I hope you’re enjoying two-stepping with Jesus.
You are missed and always in my heart. Love, your granddaughter Becca Tuesday, December 1, 2009 |

To the family of Ms.Jannise, I met Ms.Jannise at the Arboretum in Winnie where I work as the Activity Director. She was such a pleasant sweet lady. My son, Alex loved playing card with her. She has been missed since her move to Summer Place. Sorry to read of her passing. Tuesday, November 24, 2009 |
