Bobbie-I was very saddened to hear of AJ passing.Always living away over the years our paths seldom crossed. I do have fond memories of watching him playing on Port Arthurs State championship team.Afew years younger I played football in college with two of his 1944 teamates back from the war. They always spoke very highly of AJ most often referring to him as"your cousin" of which I was aptly proud. I kniw that your many memories together will be your strongest consolations-- Best Wishes, "Cousin"- George Decoux Gulfport, MS Monday, November 16, 2009 |
