I worked for many years for an attorney in Beaumont who was doing some work for Ms. Anderson in connection with property she owned in Batson, Texas. So many times she would arrive early for her appointments, and I would sit in the reception area and visit with her. I loved to ask her questions about her early life in Beaumont, and she would tell the most detailed, interesting stories about growing up here. I have thought of her often in the years since, and am sorry to hear of her death.
