Dear Mr. and Mrs. D,
I am so sorry about Wade, I know he will be truly missed. He touched so many hearts including mine. It is sad that it took his death for some of the people who called him a friend to realize what they missed out on the last few years of his life. I know it was hard at times but his smile, sparkling blue eyes and his personality made it so much worth it. I just wish others would have been there for him to see that. I am sorry my family and I were not there for your family but know that if we had known in time we all would have been there for you. I am so thankful that I had the chance to see him this summer and wish that I could have been there more. He has always been a big part of my heart and will continue to be. Know that we are here for you if you ever need us. Tell Mr. D. that we love him and hope that he feels better and that we love you and your family so much. I know that Wade is smiling down on us and watching out for all of those who truly loved him. I am sure that God has him very busy now doing great things.

Miss Lynne, I am so very sorry for your loss. We are not made to stay on earth while God has one of our kids. I will keep you and your family in my prayers and if you ever need anyone to scream at, cry with or just sit and stare at a wall, I am here for you. It will be 1 year next week and I am dragging my feet around that corner. one day, we will find the peace that will mend our broken hearts.
