Dearest David and the beloved family of Maurine,
You must know what a great person she was. We had so many long conversations on the telephone and I know David must have wished we would have cut them shorter. I am so pleased that we were able to reconnect with both David and Maurine after all of these years. We were totally in awe that she would be able to make our reunions for the last few years. She and I laughed about the silly things in high school that we thought and actually did, and even more how the years passed so quickly and now we faced "old age" and of course how we must do it with "style"!!!!! I was so looking forward to our shared birthday and the "girl's night out". Of course always laughing at how much trouble could we possibly get into at our ages!!! Thank you David for being so patient with the both of us. I saw the love in your eyes when you helped Maurine with her daily living. I know God has a special reward in Heaven for people like you. We will stay in contact with you and only hope you might still meet with us at our reunions. Take care and God Bless

It has been a delight to have known Maurine for the past 32 years. She will be greatly missed. She was a beautiful person and a friend as well as a sister-in-law. I am thankful that she has been a part of our lives.

Gerald & Vicki (New Braunfels, TX)

Maurine has been so sweet to always call about Gerald; it was just a little over a week ago that she called to ask how Gerald was doing. We talked about what was going on with her, but she always turned the conversation about Gerald and how he was doing.
I have so many memories....from 1st Grade to 12th Grade in Bishop, TX....of things that we did together, and am very thankful for Maurine being a part of my life.
It has just been in the last few years that we re-connected and am so glad that she was part of my “Winter” life. I must say; thank you David for making sure she was at our “First Grade Gatherings”.

She definitely had a struggle, but she always had a smile on her face when we saw her and when we talked to her on the phone.

We will miss her very much.
With Love,
Gerald & Vicki Jurica
