Grandfather,
You will never be forgotten. You will always be in my heart. All our memories will be cherished forever. Thinking about you makes me want to cry, and all the stories about you. Everytime I was always down, I always could count on you to cheer me up. You knew how to make someone from sad to happy within seconds, and that's one of the many things I love about you. Everytime I'm down, I always think about you and all of our good times and it brings me right back up. You can be a little hard-headed, but that's who you are, and I think we all get that from you. We all love you and miss you so much. I don't know what I'm going to do without you. I know you'll watch over us and keep us safe, expecially grandmother. I love you.

Looking at his handsome face in the picture, I can see where half the beauty in the family came from, with the other half of the beauty provided by his loving wife, and what a beautiful family they brought into the world over the years, from children to grandchildren to great-grandchildren. It has been my great pleasure to know some of you, and I share your great loss.

He was such a kind gentleman, and I consider it a privilege to have met him on several occasions at the College Street and Highway 105 locations. I couldn't understand a word he said, and he couldn't understand a word I said, but we spoke the same language with our eyes, as old men often do. This is why I always bowed to him when we met, and I bow to him now.

I join with all of you in expressing love and respect for a man who will never be forgotten by family, friends, and all who had the good fortune to know him. In the picture, I also see bravery, strength and determination, and even in this time of sadness, I know he passed these qualities along to each of those he loved, giving all of you a reason to go on in this life as we prepare for the next one.
