I regret that I was emotioally unable to speak at Floyd's memorial.
I would have told about about some the many good times &
adventures we had riding, racing, flying & double dating.
I would have talked about some of Floyd's qualities like being
one of the youngest adults I've ever met, humor, always
willing to help someone, honesty, integrity, mentoring, riding, flying, hosting & leadership skills.
Things that are important to a person says a lot about them.
Some of the things that were important to Floyd were his
family, friends, affiliation with the BMW club, receiving the
clubs exemplary service award, living life to the fullest &
his & Dessie's marriage. When Floyd spoke of Dessie, he
spoke with the utmost repsect & affection. I admired him
for that.
I am honered to be counted among Floyd's & Dessie's
many friends & one of Floyd's wing men.

During the two years he has been my neighbor Floyd showed his kindness many times and willingly offered his help with tools and giving a helping hand with a heavy load. He will be missed.

Dessie, Greg and Carolyn:
Our thoughts and prayers are with each of you. Floyd was a wonderful man and friend. He and Jim had a lot of flight miles together and lots of wonderful memories and stories. Jim was very upset he didn't get to visit with him, we only wish we had known he was sick. We will always regret not keeping in closer contact with each of you.

I am so sorry for your loosing Floyd. Bob and I rode with him around Houston and the Hill Country. I lost Bob 6 1/2 years ago and I am still mending. There is alot of hard times but somehow you get through them. I pray that you have family support and faith in God.
