Jack was my friend in Rotary and I absolutely adored him. He was such a good, kind, cheerful person. He was never without a smile. Every week he was in his place at the ticket table with a warm greeting, a big smile, and a friendly word for everyone. He always placed service above himself. He will be greatly missed. I am so very sorry for your loss. I know you will miss him, too. Saturday, October 17, 2009 |

Mr. and Mrs. Scott have been my neighbor for 25 years. He faithfully walked his dog at least twice a day. When our gardenia bush was in full bloom they always stopped to smell them and take some to their friends in Houston or just took them home. When he would come down Vance and see us in the yard he would start honking the horn a 1/2 block away, wave and with that big smile on his face and keep on going.....when they would stop and visit we discussed many different topics....I always enjoyed his views on things...I will miss him....
I pray that you will find peace and comfort during this time. Friday, October 16, 2009 |
