Memories of love and friendship are treasures to carry with you always. I wish I had known Charley better, like I had known his other brothers and family. We lived next door to the E.E. Radleys, when I first moved to Sour Lake, so I got to watch them as we were all growing up.

Charley was a first cousin, but the gap in our ages meant that I knew him more as a "grown up" that I really liked. I have so many fond memories of time spent at his house off O.S.T. in Houston when I was a little girl, and my children have many good memories of time they spent with him at his place at Canyon Lake. His smile could light up a room. Sue, Buddy, Cynthia (and his extended family), I pray that sweet memories of Charley will comfort you during this time.
