This is Annie David, now Koehler, a former student of yours.
I'm not sure you remember me, but you taught me at Lamar way back in the early 80's. When I married in 1985, you sent me a hand-stitched pearl heart that held a penny for good luck. We use to exchange Christmas cards, but lost track of each other some years back. I just wanted you to know how sorry I am for your loss.I read about your husband's passing as it was the same day that my father passed away. Please know that I have been praying for you and that God will send you His angels to give you comfort and strength during this difficult time. God bless you, Annie

Anne and I extend our sympathy and love to all the family members. I plan to attend the service in Muldoon on Monday, but Anne is occupied with the opening of Seton Hospital Hays County and must fly to Kansas City Monday afternoon.
