The first time I met Gracie is when Fulton and I used to travel around with his pool playing inbetween construction jobs. She owned Jimmie Dee's in Gilchrest and she captured my heart right away. We renewed our friendship when I started coming back to the beach after many years down at the Tavern and she was still the same Gracie I had met all those years ago. Gracie was one of a kind and very unique in her manor and language but if you were her friend, and thank goodness I am, you were her friend for life. I will miss our little outings to Coconuts and other places and her wonderful wit. She had the fastes come backs than anyone I have ever known. Please know you can contact us if ever you need anyone to talk to or go out and have a beer or two. You are in our prayers and may God comfort you now and always.
