Ann, Harold, & Cathy - We are both so sorry to hear of Lonnie's passing. He was one of my first co-workers at GSU in the 1960s and I will always remember his out-going, positive, and cheerful personality. Prior to retirement, we cut timber together on his rural property in Lumberton. Then after retirement, we visited him at the great weekend lodge that he hand-built near Jasper. May our loving God bless you and strengthen you with hope, based on Christ's resurrection. Friday, September 18, 2009 |

Ann: Jane and I have lost a good friend. We will also miss the chocolate Ice cream. "Cobus" and I shared many hours of countless discussions about many subjects, many of which will be remembered but some lost. He always had an interesting solution to most all questions. I am not capable of expressing the loss that I personally feel. It was a real pleasure having him around. Friday, September 18, 2009 |
