My thoughts and prayers are with each and everyone of you at this time of sorrow.. I feel so blessed in the thought that I had the chance to get to know Frenchie. She was the toughest old lady to beat in Bunco. I hope that they have plenty of Bunco players in heaven for her to have a good game on. Please let me know if there is anything that I can do for the family. May you have peace in know that she is in the most glorious place.

Joyce Thibodeaux Battarbee (Jewett, TX)

Dear family, Sorry to not be there for the memorials. Kathy Emailed the notice this afternoon. I remember your mom with sweetness and delight: she was always sunshinysmiling and us Thibodeaux kids got to see our first color TV at her home on a Sunday evening Disney. It was a show on the critters and such of the desert. God Bless and Comfort you as only He can. Be of good courage, do not fear nor be dismayed for the Lord who loves you will be strong for you and in you today. joyceb.

We are so sorry to hear about Nanny and hope that time will help ease your pain. I always enjoyed my time her and your family. She had a wonderful sense of humor and was a pleasure to be around. I especially remember those late nights playing Bunco with her and all of you...lots of great memories that will not soon be forgotten!
Love to you all - Rodney & Michelle

Our Nanny was the best grandmother anyone could ask for. She loved spending time with all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was loving, funny, loved to play cards and play chicken foot at the senior citizen center in Ned. or as she called it in her New Orleans accent, the "centa." She loved to eat out everyday with her friends from the center and loved to shop for clothes at the mall. She also loved her cat "Sam." Before her eyesight went bad she loved to crochet and paint. I lived next door to her from the time I was 13 until 22 when I got married. I spent every night with her and we spent many nights watching CMT (this was her favorite channel) or we just sat up and talked. Nanny didn't like staying alone when the weather was going to be bad so on bad weather days or nights Adam and I would have her over to spend the night. This was an opportunity for us to spend time with her and for her to spend time with her great-children. If there was a cloud in the sky my kids would say "call Nanny the weather is going to be bed" They loved when Nanny spent the night with them. I am greatful for getting to spend so much time with her over the years. I find comfort in knowing that Nanny is in heaven and is not sick anymore. Thank you God for giving Nanny to us and for allowing my family to get to spend so much time with her.
