Molly and Family,
Words cannot comfort the pain of losing your father. I have you in my prayers, remember the comfort of your Daddy. Carry his legacy in your daily life. His legacy is one of a gentle and caring man who loved each of you dearly. Your dad was very proud of each of you, and I know this first hand. I had the opportunity to know your dad when I was a child, and to sit and speak with him as an adult. He spoke hightly of each of his children, and had a wonderful sense of pride when speaking of each of you. He instilled the value of family in his children, and it is reflected in who you are now. Praise God that your Daddy no longer suffers, and all of the struggles he endured in this life are over. Find comfort in knowing that a place for each of is prepared for our final destination, and that we will all be reunited. Love and peace be with each of you during this most difficult time. Lean on each other and you will find solace.

Lent, you and your family are very dear to my family and we would like to extend our condolences for you loss. I didn't know your Dad very well, but if a son is a reflection of his father, then he was surely a great and loving man. I know it was very difficult being away when he passed. I know you were holding it in for my sake and Pete’s. I so admire what you did for your dad by taking him in when you did. You are a good son and good friend.

Linda (Rhodes) Orlando (Nederland, TX)

Royce was my cousin but I didn't meet him until I was about 12 years old. He greeted me with a warm smile and a big hug. I was nervous, meeting cousins for the first time, and Royce not only made me feel welcome, he made me feel accepted.
Our paths didn't cross often, but when they did, Royce always greeted me with a smile and a hug, and he would say "Hey cuz".
My husband, Matt, also worked at Goodrich and when Royce would see him, he always took the time to say "Hello" and ask how we were doing.
When I think about Royce, I will remember the kindness he showed to me, because a warm greeting from a family member may seem like a small thing, but to me it was a priceless gift.
My husband and I extend our deepest sympathies to the family. You will be in our thoughts and prayers.
"Uncle Ed's youngest daughter"
