Jerry -

A little over nine years ago, I met Sue for the first time. She captivated me with her inner light and warmth. It was Sue who grabbed me up in my time of need and allowed me to come spend my days with her at your home, while Cannon was a baby. We enjoyed many a fried bologna sandwiches and she shared openly her experience, strength and wisdom with me. Every story included her true loves, her husband and her daughter. You were the light that helped her to shine.

I cannot express how much Sue impacted and changed my life. I will be forever grateful to her for sparking an interest and desire to become that inspiration that she was for me to others. I have all the respect in the world for her and know she is truly an angel in heaven.

Stephanie, Jerry and family,
My parents, Leslie & I want you to know how sorry we are for your loss. Sue was such a fun loving lady. I will never forget the memories I shared w/you and your family and am honored to have known Sue. Her (and Jerry) introduced me to sailing and Neil Diamond for the first time. And best of all Sue's Slumgully! The love you all shared was so great, you never missed a chance to say "I love you" to each other. That's something to be proud of. Our hearts are heavy today and we are sorry we cannot attend her service. Please know we are there in spirit. Love you guys!

Leslie Penland (Frisco, TX)

Stephanie and Family,
My heart goes out to you and your family. Sue was such a beautiful lady. I was fairly young when we moved from First Street, but I loved visiting your home. Sue always had a fabulously bright crystal figures collection and at a young age I was in awe. She was always very sweet to Alisha and I. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
