Brenda came into my family as my new grandmother. After the loss of my first grandmother, whom I was very close to, I was skeptical of anyone taking her place. Brenda was nothing but kind to me. Knowing how close I was to my grandmother, she made it clear within hours of meeting me that she had no intention of replacing her, but just being a part of my family and a friend to me. She stopped at nothing to find things we could do together. I know that was selfish of me then, but now all I have seen, even through sickness, was her undying love for my grandfather and her dedication as a wife and a valuable part of our family. I love her very much and will miss her terribly. Friday, September 4, 2009 |

Brenda is now in the arms of the angels. Charlie, Brent, Scotty, Jeanne and all her grandchildren will find comfort in knowing she has found comfort and peace. My prayers are with you all. With love, Shirley McElwee Friday, September 4, 2009 |
