I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Alan was one wonderful guy. He always made me feel so comfortable at family events. My kids loved him, too. As did EVERY child. I am really sorry to see Alan go. The world has lost a really good person. Thursday, September 3, 2009 |

Cindy & family, Just read in the paper about Alan. We're sorry to hear of your loss for all of you. We're remembering the times we had on Ave. E in Nederland. Jennifer playing baseball and Clarisa & Vanessa coaching her team, also with her dolls. I think the girls and Chris have been in contact. That was many years ago. Time passes quickly. You will be in our thoughts and prayers. Steve & Debbie Crain, Clarisa, Vanessa & Michelle Thursday, September 3, 2009 |

Everyone who knew Al knew he had class. Subdued class ... but unmistakable class. When everyone else would be slack jawed about something, Al would be laughing like he knew it was going to happen. I'm one of the fortunate ones to have spent the golden years with Alan - surfing, skating, etc.
I know Al's golf game is going to be better than ever up there now.
I'm so sorry for your loss Cindy. We will miss him.

David, I am so sorry for your loss. It has been along time since I have seen you guys, I was just with Terry Harris on Monday and asked about You and Al. The times we had during the late 70's and early to mid 80's in the surf and around Port Arthur will always be cherished.
Best Regards, Rory Wednesday, September 2, 2009 |

Dear CJ, Gladys and David:
Just wanted to let you know how sad I am over the loss of Alan. Even though he and David were younger then me, I always remember them as they were at the time I rented the little green house behind CJ, back in the days. Alan was the nicest little kid, always kind and considerate. He was a great guy. Again I am so sorry for your loss.
